IN
THIS MOBILE SOCIETY, TIE-DOWNS ARE DRIVING SALES.
There's
a big market out there for tie-downs, and the growing number of
sport utility vehicles (SUVs), vans and trucks, are increasing demand.
With their go-anywhere abilities, SUVs and trucks appeal to lots
of people. They're doing things outdoors, they're hauling cargo....
so they have a need for cargo securement products. Whatever their
needs, whatever the application, no one offers as complete of a
product line as CargoLoc. Or, as strong of a program, with
packaging and merchandising to go along with it.
CARGOLOC.
IT'S NOT ONLY A COMPLETE PRODUCTS LINE, IT'S A COMPLETE CATEGORY.
THE
TRUTH ABOUT PRODUCT CAPACITIES
"RATED
CAPACITY" is the only true and recognized method of rating
tie-down capacities. Some suppliers may rate their products by the
highest capacity components in order to overstate capacities. At
CargoLoc,we list the true "rated capacity" on our
products.
Component Capacity
This
rates a product by the component with the highest capacity. It does
not, however, determine the "rated capacity" of a complete
assembly.
Rated
Capacity
The
minimum load a complete new assembly will withstand before failure.
This is determined by pulling a complete assembly to failure.
Working
Load Capacity
The
maximum load tie-down should be subjected to during normal use.
It is recommended that the working load not exceed one-third of
the product's rated capacity.
